It probably was me... don't use it! You lose around 2/3 of the effective flash distance, so you have to be really close to the subjects to light them adequately with high speed sync. If you need a higher native flash sync you can (1) use a camera with an electronic shutter or (2) use a camera with a leaf shutter system but those two options have their own potentially troublesome limitations.
