Thanks for starting this thread!! The more we learn about exposure the better

I thought I understood exposure pretty good till now. I seem to more rely on the camera's sensor's and experience. I kind of know what the camera's sensor can do dynamic wise, so I just try and compensate for that using the histogram/ past experience as a guide. Seems to work pretty good

It really sounds like the more sophisticated systems would be a much more consistent exposure as a general rule of thumb though. Reading all what I have read here I certainly learned I need to read it again, and go by some Ansel Adams
