Tamron 19-35 vs. 17-35
Was in the store the other day looking for a wide lens and they had the Tamron 19-35 and the Tamron 17-35. I was told that the DI lenses were only for digital (which I now believe is incorrect in that only the DI II lenses are digital-only but not the DI lenses). Anyway, I was wondering if it's worth the extra money for the 17-35 vs. the 19-35? The 19-35 is nice and light and does balance well on my Nikon N75 film body (with some of the heavier lenses I have to work the zoom with my right hand). But if I put the lens on my d70 will I wish I had the DI version (which supposedly is optimized for digital but will work on film as well)?
