I am an old lady who retired from educating teachers about 3 years ago and have started shooting stock and selling on websites in the interim.
I've been interested in photography since I was a kid and first shot with my Mom's box Kodak back in the 60's!! (That dates me, doesn't it?)
I bought into digital as soon as it arrived on the scene and have grown with it through Casio, various iterations of Olympuses and now am a Canon 'shooter.' I shoot with a Canon 20 D after retiring my 1D a few months ago. Check my sig file for links to stock sites where you'll see the kind of 'stuff' I shoot. It's mostly coastal/nautical stuff though I still love the city and get back to the Pittsburgh area periodically where I still have a family...daughter, son-in-law and first grand daughter. I love city life, but am now in rural Maine and love it too!
I am an incoragable (is that how it's spelled?) technophile and upgrade on just about every other cycle, but if the rumor about a Canon full-frame 11-12 mp camera are true, I may be doing it sooner this time! I'm hopeless!
Well, enough for now...more later...

Oh, in case you were wondering, the guy in the background in the photo is my brother. He is a 'Mainiac' as well AND a canon 'shooter.' We have a very friendly competition and do lots of 'shooting' together. His being about 8 inches taller than I makes for very interesting comparisons when we're shooting the same subjects!! We have great fun!! (He's a Canon shooter too...he's the one who lured me away from Oly!!)
