Kodak Sensors for Digital backs
Kind of a cross post with one I put in General, but I hope Kodak is in this for the long haul...and hope they succeed.
Kodak is currently making sensors for cameras, in case nobody knew that. Their badest one to date is the KAF-22000. But they just announced two new ones (KAF-39000 & KAF-31600). They will be used in Phase One's upcoming P45 and P30 digital backs. The KAF-39000 covers an area of 36x48mm, while the KAF-31600 offers a 33x44mm imaging area. Not too bad, I'd say.
In case you wondered, slap three more zeros on the end of the number, to get the pixel count. Thats right, 39 or 31.6 million. Sweet.
Everybody get themselves a Phase One P45 or P30
