I'm pretty sure it's the processing... when I still shot the chromogenic B&W, it came out red. The guys at Costco would correct the prints, but the scanned negs looked pretty lousy without a little PP.

Now, when I do shoot film, I try to print my own, so I can take care of all of that myself... =)
