Hey there.. I'm about to pull the plug on the same monitor but in the 20 " version.. sure, it won't be great for professional image folks - that much is obvious.. but I've been using a 17" samsung monitor for a few years now to do all my photo editing and work and it has been just fine. BTW: the 20" version is about $60 cheaper and uses the same resolution as the 22".. you won't gain much by moving to the 22" vs the 20" except an uprez of fonts which may causing some minor distorting. If you don't need the 22 for moving watching.. I'd go with the 20" and save some $$. Good luck!
