Well, nowadays, you can pick up a decent used 4x5 like a Toyo or Calumet for well under $200 on ebay, and then figure another $200-300 for film holders and a lens w/shutter.

I did that, and I'm just starting to play with it for some interesting perspective effects using the tilt and shift capabilities.
