There are at least two options for saving your changes. If you hit the "done" button it will save the changes and close the file. If you hit the "open" button it will save the changes and open the file. When you hit either button, the system will create an xmp file which keeps the changes. If you are in explorer or my pictures in windows, you will see the xmp file. If you delete the xmp the changes will be lost. I tell you all this because I deleted several and lost my changes!
