Not sure what there is to argue about. You make a case, back it up with an explanation, and there you have it. Photographic equipment is not something I can get worked up about emotionally. I think I explained why Canon seems to me the wisest choice to make if you're starting out. Someone else might come along and give reasons why another system might work. The reader can then decide for herself.
