"Best" is a relative term and highly dependant upon the original posters needs and wants.
I really like the E-1, as it is a proven studio camera - rock solid and has great ergos.
However, it is not for everyone. Same can be said for Canon and Nikon.
Bottom line: It's difficult to answer the question, what is 'best' without first knowing
how 'best' is to be defined.
