Any suggestions on another raw processor for a Nikon shooter?
Capture One LE. It's the one I use 95% of the time unless I want the best quality at/near base ISO. The batch processing abilities and noise suppression is way ahead of Nikon Capture NX. The color is fairly good, and PhaseOne has different profiles for each supported camera. If you buy a SanDisk Extreme III card, a product key was being bundled with them; not sure if the promotion's still going on.

Capture One's still going to require you to use some form of Photoshop for final editing, but it integrates really well into a Photoshop workflow.

Has anyone found any deals on Nikon Capture NX software.
Nope.

I just am not sold on putting on $150.00 on software that should have come with my camera.
Don't be. =)
