LOL Well late at night, perhaps didn't label the picture correctly
I was trying out the 50mm f1.4 which is not really a macro lens.

Thanks you for the welcome and wasn't sure where to exactly post as there are a couple of catagories and trying to see if I successfully post a picture. (finally figured it out that I could post 'one'*

With a subject like this you probably would have been better to do a close-up and try to isolate and highlight the texture of the subject.
