Marketing trick I've used for years
Here's a little marketing trick I've used for years to get more business out of an existing client.
Every year we photograph the Monterey High School athletic teams.
Packages are pre-paid, and the images are also used for the game programs.
About 1/2 the team is made up of seniors.
The idea is to get those seniors back into the studio for their senior portraits.
The cards are placed into their sports photo packages before delivery.
With this card, they'll get a free senior session, normally valued at $50, absolutely free.
(It's the old trick of giving away the razor and selling the blades).
Cards are designed in Photoshop, printed on photographic paper by my lab, and cost about .50 cents.
Average senior sale is hovering around $750.
