I'm usually not a fan of soft focus, but must admit that in this photo I really like it. A first for me. The sweet little subject and the pose just make it so fitting.
If you blur the more in focus areas (chin, ear) to the same extent as the rest of the photo no one would ever have to know it was a mistake.
